The Justified €265 Tagged Nokia E55
Nokia and innovation go together. Handset giant unveiled its upcoming product at the MWC at Barcelona, Spain. The new E55 was displayed in black and white, red though not displayed, but is rumored to be a variant of the model too, the case with all E-series phones.
Scheduled to reach markets in the second quarter of this year. Physically speaking, the E55 is the slimmest of Smartphone with only 9.9 mm thickness, 3.5 mm headphone jack, low weight of only 98 grams, a good 2.4 inch screen, a compact half-QWERTY keyboard having two letters per key, 3.2 MP camera and a standard Lithium-Ion battery of 1500mAh.
The handset brings a rich display experience of up to 16 million colors. Words being typed are predicted by the handset to facilitate the user. The battery has around 8(GSM)/6(WCDMA) hours and an excellent one month of talk-time and stand-by times respectively, making the device perfectly suitable for people travelling long for business purposes etc.
The Smartphone has Symbian S60 3.2 OS, HSDPA/HSUPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, added with features such as GPS functionality and NokiaMaps3.0 etc., which together with all the specifications in the article give the justification for the price tag.
