Phenom 9600+ Black Edition is out.
AMD’s new processor Phenom 9600+ black edition has released today. The edge that this special edition called black edition has over it’s ordinary version, is that now it has the clock multiplier fully accessible. This special edition can be overclocked which is a great news for gamers and the like high-end users but this feature has a drawback also, and that is overheating of the processor due to that overclocking, which requires expensive cooling system. Yet this is not the end of the story because that cooling system can’t guarantee the processor’s safety. The company discourages overclocking and don’t want to be held responsible for the damages which may result.

People who have kept themselves updated so far, should be aware of AMD Phenom and Barcelona issues and might have heard of TLB. To deal with those issues the company had issued workarounds but that costed in terms of performance. A computer off the full load is the one below the 2.2 GHZ and beyond that limit, the problem erupts. Since, the ordinary Phenom 9600+ and the special edition of it work at 2.3 and 2.6 GHZ respectively, therefore, these processors become troubled.
Despite of having the processor inoperable due to that erratum, the company stated that an average user have less chance of encountering with such a trouble.

This is the right chip for ppl who want lower cost and higher performance.
