After a period of using, your Windows becomes “fatty” and “obese” because of duplicated, temporary files and invalid entries from the Registry. Like obese people who don’t have good health, your computer may probably be slow and unstable. To take care for this, EasyCleaner is a free and easy to use software to keep your computer back to shape.

EasyCleaner has nearly complete tools to maintain your computer like: registry cleaner, duplicated file remover, unnecessary file remover, program uninstaller etc. After installing, just run EasyCleaner and you will get this window:

The service buttons are on the left side, and on the right is the description of these services. Just click on a button to start using that service.

To clean invalid entries from Windows Registry, you choose the Registry button (the first one). Next, click Find and wait a little while to let EasyCleaner scan for invalid entries. Then, the list of invalid entries will be shown in the panel below. Now, you just have to click Delete to delete each entry or click on Delete All button to delete all.

To remove duplicated files from your computer, you have to click on the Duplicates button. Next, select the disk you want to scan or you can also choose a specific directory to scan by double clicking on the drive letter and choose in the dialog. Then, click Find and wait for a while. It may take a few minutes depending on the size and number of files on your disk. The list of duplicated files will also be shown in the panel below, you just have to select one and delete it.

To remove unnecessary files like temporary files created by installer or browser etc, you click on the button Unnecessary. Also choose the disk or the directory to scan like you did above, click Find and wait for a while. The list of temporary files will be shown in the panel below as well, you can delete one by choose that file and click Delete or delete all by clicking on Delete All.

These are three common cleaning tasks that can help your computer back to shape. Running these tasks regularly also makes your computer run faster and with more stability. In addition, you can also use EasyCleaner to clear Internet browsing history, remove invalid shortcuts and uninstall programs instead of the default Add/Remove program in Windows etc.
