Check Your Internet Connection Speed With Just One Click.
With the evolution of DSL and Broadband services, Internet has just got better. Most of us use high-speed Internet and enjoy watching videos on Youtube, download torrents and anything we can think of. Some of us use dial-up like I used to do a year ago and when I came across to check some local ISPs for switching to DSL, the first thing I checked was their data transfer speed.
I always used Speedtest.net for speed checking with which most of you are probably aware of. But the disadvantage of this website is that it uses flash so much and thus slows down the speed checking process. Today, I came across another speed checking service by the same parent company named Ookla Metrics in partnership with wireless broadband company Aeronet. Obviously, what a user wants is speed checking, and not a heavy loaded page with animations bogging him down. What’s the interesting part that unlike Speedtest.net website, this mini-tool can automatically select speed testing server for your connection through your IP, so with just one click, you can check your Internet speed with no hassle. Check it and do let me know how do you find it?
