100% Computerized water and fire!
February 5th, 2008 Posted in Others
I was stumbling through videos and eventually, found this amazing video displaying water and fire. You may ask that what is special in this video? Basically this video demonstrates not the original water and fire, but it is their computerized clones designed by Scanline VFX. Have a look, enjoy and be ready to drink virtually ;).
Or view in High Quality from this link
{Google just ruined the video’s sharpness}

Yeah, I tried to do simple fluid simulation on computer, then realized how much RAM I don’t have.
These effects, even the “simpler” ones like the first one, can take hours upon hours to render, even with high-end computers.

Wow that was a really cool video, I wish my computer could handle that kind of rendering but alas still on my old rig.

Powua– the internet super computer, you could try it for rendering, it is free while it is still in beta.
