Energy saving Motherboards by Gigabyte.
As the requirement of energy is increasing due to increase in world population, new means are coming into existence to cope with this situation. As the time is passing, the amount of energy generation to fulfill the requirements is getting insufficient, and this is the fact which drives attention to discover means to save the energy wherever possible and prevent the waste of it.
Motherboard manufacturer Gigabyte looks like more energy conscious which enabled them to work for energy saving Motherboards, for which there are claims that 20% power could be saved at the push of a button.
It would be fair to write here that the manufacturer has implemented the multi-gear power phase system with the help of which, operation depended switching of these power phases could be done.
At any particular instant, only the required power phases are turned on and else are turned off depending on the workload which when gets increased, the off power phases are switched to on as required, to put it simple when the workload is low less power phases are on and vice versa.
The changes that go on the motherboard in terms of power phase switching are indicated by an LED which lights up and down according to the switching.
In a single line If I be allowed to describe the initiative I would say:
‘Energy saving without sacrificing the computing experience’
