My blogging goals for 2008.
I have started this blog a few weeks ago and hence don’t have any previous stats to tell, but I am confident enough that this blog would get successful and thus looking forward to set some great goals to establish this blog in 2008. Obviously, setting goals for something motivates us to achieve it whether its relationships, academic success, sports and anything we can think of. It applies to blogging also and at the end of 2007, many bloggers are participating in group writing project held at daily blog tips. So I also thought to participate and to setup my future targets.
Here are my blogging goals for the next year:
- At least 1 post per day till the end of June, in the next half two posts per day
- Feed subscribers: 800 {Help me to achieve this goal by subscribing}
- Technorati ranking: In top 5000
- Alexa ranking: In top 50000
- Pagerank: At least 4
- At least 3000 unique visitors per day
- To make at least two wordpress themes: One premium template for me and other(s) for my readers{Will put my premium theme for grab in the end of 2008 :)}
- Revenue: Enough to reward me for my efforts
- To gain 10-15 comments average on each post
- To learn PHP/MySQL, AJAX, SEO Techniques and other things as I will come across anything useful for my blog
- To Gain more exposure in social networking sites and communities especially StumbleUpon, Facebook, Mybloglog and Blogcatalog
