Today I am gonna give you some tips about “Windows Aero”.
If Aero slows down your computer:
Windows Vista’s Aero interface is really eye catching and amazing but it can slow down your machines also 
. You can try these tips if u want to run Aero on a slow computer:
Method 1: Disable Transparent Glass Effect
1. Right Click on the Desktop and select Personalize.
2. Select Windows Color And Appearance[Its the first option 
].
3. Uncheck Enable Transparency.
Method 2: Disable Windows Minimize/Maximize Animation
1. Press windows logo key and Pause/break key together, system properties will appear .
2. Then go to Advanced Tab and then go to settings tab for performance and then uncheck “Animate Windows When Minimizing/Maximizing”.
3. Click OK.
Now you can turn on Aero because it will work fine!
“Slow-Motion” Aero:
There is another interesting tip for Aero. By applying this, you will see Aero animation in “slow-motion” mode that will work if you are holding the “shift†key while minimizing , maximizing and closing a window.
This will work if you can run the Windows Aero glass theme. Download this file . Unzip it and double click on it to add it to the Registry which will add some values to the registry. Just restart your computer and the effect will work.
